The premiere of THE BULLET ROUND by Steven Drukman is coming up quick. The rehearsals are going well, the set is on it’s way to being built, costumes are being purchased, the PW’s flight and accommodations are taken care of and the poster is nearly finished. I can’t believe the opening is almost here. I came across this play nearly two years ago when it was suggested to me by my boyfriend. However, it was able to become a reality when I was awarded a RACC grant.

Welcome to The David Mamet School for Boys. Please forgive us while we work on our appearance. We hope you enjoyed our production of DUTCHMAN by LeRoi Jones.
Thank you so much for your interest in The David Mamet School for Boys. It has long been a dream of mine to start a theater company. What the mission statement or the goal would be was always unclear. Mainly I am interested in a script that challenges the conventional means of story-telling. Sometimes that script will challenge one’s comfort level, but that’s what it’s all about in the theater. The audience participation is a key element in the world of theater, as well as that of the playwright. Without the post-modern playwrights, we would not be asked to look at our world in a much different light than we are used to. Please join me in exploring new work for the Portland stage.
